- Of course, not every Gallipolis driver desires a diesel engine. With a 6.4L HEMI® V8 gas engine, the 2019 RAM 2500 has a maximum towing capacity of 17,130 pounds when properly equipped, with a maximum payload capacity of 6,600 pounds.
